Sri Lanka’s natural habitats face increasing pressure from invasive plant species that threaten biodiversity and disrupt the balance of local ecosystems. To support ongoing conservation work, we partnered with Small Cat Advocacy and Research (SCAR), an organization dedicated to protecting native wildlife and habitats. Together, we joined their efforts at Diyasaru Park to clear invasive plants and contribute to the park’s long-term ecological health. Our involvement supported the restoration of native vegetation and strengthened the sustainability of this important wetland ecosystem.
